Well I made it to Level 41 and got bored and quit playing. I keep checking on mods and once a week or so I fire up the game just to keep it activated in case I decide to play again. Waiting for DOOM now.

Nah, I just up the difficulty. I'm a sub par player so I'll never have to weep because there are no more worlds to conquer.
I'm level 123 and on survival. I haven't really felt challenged by the game in quite a while. I haven't really played it much the last couple weeks though. I'm waiting for the new survival mode to come out, and then I'm starting a new character. I'm basically just taking a break from the game until then.
Doing quests in interior cells at high level is boring. Weak enemies and lack of xp. Some NPCs exterior cells they may level up together with the player so they have "about" the same level, meaning higher xp. Some NPCs just get more health, but the xp is pretty low. All NPCs should level up together with the player and hostile kill should gain more xp.

Hi again everyone,
I don't pick up legendaries and I don't wear enchanted gear. I've got some clothes with I think level 4 ballistic weave. I use a combat rifle with an advanced receiver (dam 80). So I'm not overpowered at all. But I think I have perhaps put too many perks in things that have made me a bit tougher than I like.
The more I think about it the more I like the idea of not raising my level past say 30 (I assume I won't level up if I don't open the perk chart). I'll have to be really careful about what perks I choose to buy which will make them seem precious. In Skyrim I stopped levelling at 25 (well stopped choosing perks and raising my stats but of course skills kept going up) because it got silly finding enchanted ebony weapons in some lowly raiders unlocked chest. I liked the game a lot more playing like that although you are of course sacrificing some fun by not improving your character. I think F4 has the same problem with combat armor being too plentiful and finding totally tricked out combat rifles and such.
Of course when console mods come out I can just get a level slow x4 mod and not have to worry, but I can't wait until then. I'll have played the game absolutely to death by then.
I also thought about not maxing out gun nut and armourer. As much as I enjoy tinkering I think it would be more fun to find and buy the mods I want rather than simply making them.
I'm on the point of quitting and restarting with a new character when survival comes out too. I'm really excited about it. I already roleplay eating and sleeping so I think ammo weight is the feature I am most looking forward to because I'll have to set up little stashes here and there in safe houses and settlements which I think will be cool. I'm not even too put off by the sleep/save thing but I hope they put a few sleeping bags around in the Glowing Sea because I can't find a single one.
The only trouble is I don't want to stop playing . Survival mode might not be out for a couple of months. What the hell am I supposed to do til then?
Thanks again everyone. I'm interested in hearing more handicaps you impose on yourself for challenge or interest. Particularly if anyone, like me, thinks its too easy to level up.
