Possible Update Room

Hey Guys,



I haven't been on to post in ages!



I wanted to say a super big thanks to the Devs for the update that added the "Sell All" button! My fingers are very thankful!



Anyhow the point of this post was a suggestion about a room.



Could you add a lounge please.


A room with couches for returning dwellers to head to once they enter the base. It would make sending them out into the wastes again a more seamless experience because the returning dwellers would all be in the same place.



Perhaps with programming the way that it is - this wouldn't be possible. However if you never ask....

I think I understand what you want, but there is already a room called "Lounge" in the game, and that is where you train the Charisma attribute of your Dwellers.



Currently, the one with the specifications you mentioned is being held by the Storage Room, which serves no other purpose than widening your storage space and stuffing your idle dwellers there. It would be nice to have a room that is suitable for relaxation, however (Maybe increase happiness a bit).

When dwellers return from the waste they go idle "coffee break" and wander through the vault.



I made a two part request.



1 - add a living room of sorts (I used the word lounge because that is the action they would be doing...)



2- make the dwellers go to that room after entering the vault when they return from the wastes (not just wander the vault randomly)



(hey why not call it a break room)

The only time I have issues with not getting them back out the moment I hit the collect button are DeathClaw, and raider attacks. Usually I select the person, heal them, drag them back outside give them 25 Stimpacks and send them on their way. Not sure I'd need this room, but I guess I can see why it would be nice. It just gets much harder to grab someone once they start running towards a room, which annoys me.

I can see what you are saying about it being harder to claim a person when they are running towards a room.


Usually when my guys get back from the waste land I have a few people returning at once and I usually click them all at once. So I loose track of where they go...



I was thinking that this room would be a great top floor room.


Personally, I would place it right after my entrance.

I just put a pub on the second level - everyone that returns from the waste land goes to the pub until their next shift. :foodndrink:
