Hello, I am seeking some help with the scribe.

so I'm playing on xbox one and I've literally done everything there is to do, I'm around 19hours in.. the problem I'm having is before the latest patch came out around about 5hrs in game I aquired all of the rare traders. The issue is the scribe was assigned to a armor vendor then like the rest of the traders he uppd and vanished. But the vendor still to this day says hes assigned to that vendor but nowhere to be seen. My question is I can't go that far back in my saves anymore is there a way to re-aquire the scribe and the other traders ?

I have the same problem I found them again but after the first time they can't be recruited. I feel like this might be a thing that just needs to be patched.

19 hours in and done everything?? what?!?

ahh the scribe is a level 4 trader! so I need a level 3 armor shop to recruit him? cause I ain't seeing that option

So, he is able to be found as a random encounter again ?

I have only found smiling Larry and Doc Anderson again but I assume the same applies.

ive found all 3 sadly its still broken so when i creeated this new char im waiting to even try recruting them till i know its been patched and they will go where i tell them

i could recruit the scribe on my last run. he showed up at the place i sent him (abernathy), could be asigned to his shop and didn't disappear. i couldn't trade with him in terms of his equipment though.

19 hours in an done everything? Yeahhhhh calling big BS on that one. I spent more than that day 1 and barely touched the game. And now I'm hundreds of hours in and still hearing about stuff I never did/saw. Maybe you meant 190 hours?
