Fallout 4 new player

Post » Tue Mar 22, 2016 9:10 pm

Hello i have recently started playing a new character and i'm wondering about a few questions and things to do before i start the story line to give me a little head start,

I have already saved the minutemen and got T-45 power armour with the minigun , i have full cleared sactuary hills, i have cleared the mole rat den and collected the fustion core from there, i have acquired another set of T-45 power armour from a crashed vertibird near sactuary hills, i have gone to the scrap yard and gotten 3 fustion cored and the fat-man, i'm just wondering if there is anywhere else to go near sactuary hills or the town to collect useful things to help me.

Now my questions are, without spoilers, which faction is best to join

With settlement is best to build up and send everyone to.

Any locotions with decent weapons or armour.

Play all the faction radiant quests u can before you cose a faction. The quest Bunker Hill is the point of no return, u have to chose a side during that quest. See who u like before then.

All the factions have things to recommend them - I have a different character for each. You don't need to choose straight away so get to know them snd see which ones you like.

Personally I like the Sunshine Tidings Coop for my main settlement, but your tastes may vary. A lot of people like Starlight Drive-In or otherwise stick around Sanctuary.

When I start a new character I usually do some building at Sanctuary or Red Rocket to get a few early perks on the board, and if you visit Abernathy Farm they'll send you somewhere where you can get more ammo for your minigun, wich is rare in the early game. Take the Scrounger perk - it's great early on. Enjoy!

Sanctuary is best for a "major settlement". easy to farm, house, guard and equip settlers and companions. add supply lines early to other liberated towns and then decide for yourself what works for you! btw, MM will go there as soon as you help them, so definitely a seeded community without much work.
