So with Automatron and the future Survival Overhaul I have this one feeling that keeps nagging my mind.


Fast travel and the lack of transport.


No fast travel in Skyrim worked. Why? You had a horse.


Fallout 4 has nothing.


There are only 3 options I can think of.

1. A motorcycle (As EVERYONE will say)


2. A mutant horse


3. A robot pack mule

Think like Boston Dynamics Big Boy or something like it.

To have a junked together robot with 4 protectron legs and a body to support your weight would be great to trudge along the wasteland. Powered by a fusion core perhaps like power armour?


Bethesda please, please, PLEASE give us a 4 legged machine to carry us across the Commonwealth.

A car is limited by terrain. A mutant horse may be gross and can die. So a robot mule would be fantastic!

I run out of power? Stick a new core in. It take damage? Just repair it. Need to take out a whole complex of raiders? Set to self destruct and send it in with no hard feelings because its a piece of metal!

Well, the Skyrim horses really were not that great. Dragon swoops down? Later horse. Surprise giant? Need a new buddy.

What about using the gitty up buttercups? Strap a few packs on one and go.
