I picked up Fallout 4 on PS4 on Christmas. Played it through the end of the main story line and it worked perfectly. After that, I was bored so I attacked the Brotherhood in the Cambridge Police station. Then the scenario triggered where I could down the big Brotherhood ship via artillery, which I did.

Somewhere around that time I lost the ability to fast travel. This is when I am outside, unencumbered, and not threatened by enemies. It's clearly a bug where it always worked before.

I tried to go backwards in my save history but I had only about 5 Quick saves available (obviously I had saved a few times since the last time I had tried to fast travel) or the save from the very beginning of the game. So backing up to a previous save is not an option because I am not going to restart the game.

Just to verify, I loaded up the game save from the very beginning of the game, and I was able to fast travel from there. So this bug only affects this particular game save path.

I have the most current release installed, and I also bought and installed the new Automatron release. The game works properly otherwise, but this did not fix the fast travel problem.

I also tried the tip suggested on some forums of going into the Listening Station and trying to hack the terminal and then going outside to fast travel. Did not work.

Anybody have other suggestions for work-around of this bug?
