I thought the mechanist would have a bigger base but at least I have nightmarish robots to oversee my slaves. 2 hours taking my sweet time.

Yup, the story part of it was rather short I thought. But we still get to play with robots long after that so it all evens out. I now have my KLEO twin running around with me as a companion.

I really loved it, it was a lot of fun and a lot of the rewards you got were pretty frickin' sweet.

I was surprised that his base was right next to my home base, I haven't finished it yet (since I got a load of settlement defences for some reason, including a failed one despite destroying all of the robots) but I found his base almost immediately.

I love the base underground. I havnt checked but can we build settlement beacons in there?.

omg I totally missed that its a new unlocked base last night. It's beautiful.

I haven't got to the end of it yet.

I walk every where and kept coming across robot patrols at random spawn points so kept having to return to a settlement and offload loot.

I did come across a full XO-! suit though when getting the third radar thingy.

The companion trashed it in no time.

I also had two defend the settlements in between the treks so far.
