Ada should've been a "full" companion

I want to preface this by saying that I have very much enjoyed the Automatron DLC, more so than I thought I would.

But am I the only one slightly... underwhelmed by Ada as a companion? I mean we get this whole story for her and she has a personality, but after completing Automatron we don't see any of this. No approval system. No unique comments on visited locations. I just feel like making her a "full" companion (for lack of a better word) would actually give people an incentive to use her/ keep using her.

As things stand the only reason why she exists seems to be to act as a facilitator for Automatron quests and as a tutorial for crafting.

What do you guys think?

It would have been nice to see Ada have a wider commentary pool but alas that isn't the case. However, there is one thing about Ada that annoys me to the point where I want to toss the bot into a trebuchet bag and launch her at the side of Prydwen....

If you have dismissed Ada as a companion and are near the bot (such as in the Mechanist's Lair), she won't shut up. Yabberin' on and on and on and on with about 4 or 5 comments. Codsworth nor Curie do this nor do any of the other companions and I feel that Ada shouldn't be doing this either.

As soon as I get the Mechanist's Lair set-up as my character home Ada is going to get sent to the dump that is Coastal Cottage where there is nothing and nobody residing there and I won't be visiting unless I absolutely have to.
