I have started the new DLC but have not finished it (I will tonight). I am traveling with Ada and I noticed through console commands she has an affinity meter. My question is does she give a perk like other companions once her affinity is maxed? If not I am going to continue traveling with Cods as he is the only companion I have left with my main PC to max out affinity.

Ada does not have affinity. So, there is no perk.

She does have affinity. You can click on her in console command and type in getav CA_affinity and see she has an affinity meter and it increases as you spend time with her. That is why I am asking if she has a perk b/c I did not get the same speech checks at 250 and 500 affinity as I did with other companions.

simply having an affinity number does not equate to having affinity. Ada has no affinity, you can do the crudest things and she'll never turn on you. there is no like or dislike.

She's a robot and behave like a proper robot, so no she doesn't have a perk since she doesn't have a affinity.

I hope that Far Harbor will have a proper companion instead of the pseudo-companion.
