Robots in the wild? : Fallout 4

Haven't had a chance to play automatron, so I was wondering if robot enemies remain in the wild?

Would love to see more enemies available to fight at all times. A more populated world is a happy world.

Yeah, they appear in random encounters and in settlement attacks.

If you can talk the Mechanist down, she will even give you radiant bot hunting quests.
The Mechanist's Lair is also available for sending companions or settlers to, though it lacks food production from its workbench, for now.

Yeah. Just last night...

I had a group of the new bots attack my Red Rocket home. Note there are no settlers here, just me and my giant man-cave on top of the RR. I do have turrets however and when I heard them go off I went to loot the usual Super Mutants or Raiders, but instead found a group of the new robots. Dang. Needed some robo parts anyway.

I also found some as a random encounter fighting some new 'Rust' raider types and scavengers. They seem to be everywhere.

And they even drop mods for your robots. My current level is too low to craft a Sentry Bot from scratch but thanks to these encounters I have all the parts to build it without wasting resources.

Ye'h.

I've found Mechanist Robots fighting against those new Robot Raiders (forgot their name) while a group of Brotherhood of Steel was in the middle of the fighting, with some angry ghouls from a nearby place...

My personal Sentry Gatling Tank won, obviously, but still... It was like a Micheal Bay movie, except without the crap.

I found a bunch of robots with good looking pieces, but they killed me before I could hack them, when I managed to find the same spot again they weren't there.
