Title says it all.


My current save file has the game crashing on entering Black-Briar Lodge. There's no error message, the game just quits with no errors, warnings, or logs. I couldn't find any error logfile.


I'm not using any mods that change this area or interior.


I can also teleport to (console command coc) BlackBriarLodge01 with no crashes. I can also exit the lodge safely, however the game crashes if I re-enter using the doors.


Any idea what specifically causes this and how to fix it? In particular I would like to do a factory reset of that interior (purge all changes to that interior and region from the save file).

Did some further testings:


Load -> coc BlackBriarLodge01 -> exit -> re-enter = crash

Load -> coc BlackBriarLodge01 -> exit and never return = no crash

Load -> coc BlackBriarLodge01 -> exit -> go anywhere -> coc BlackBriarLodge01 = crash


Removing all mods except my mod (that doesn't change any areas), a 2-day respawn mod, Unofficial Skyrim Patches, and official content didn't fix it.


I also found that several of the spawns in Black-Briar Lodge were missing (there are only 2 mercenaries when there should be 5-6). Their levels were also screwed up - they were level 1 (they should be level locked around 16)


Also verified integrity of game files in Steam. That didn't fix it either.

You might want to post your load order. And, instead of worrying about the lodge, I would think you might like to check any mods that relate to NPC's.
