I'm playing through the Bloodmoon MQ at the moment and I got to the attack on the Skaal Village. My character was infected as is suppsoed to happen. However, immediately afterwards there comes a popup box saying that my character's vampirism has cured the "inferior" werewolf disease. That wouldn't be a problem, except that the Skaal shaman still thinks I'm infected. I can't cure a disease I don't have so I can't progress the Skaal side of things, and without the infection the Hircine side won't progress either.

I'm playing a vampire character (obviously) with Vampire Embrace and Vampiric Hunger loaded, which I suspect may have a bearing on the problem.

Any ideas, anyone? I can always advance the quest with the Journal command I suppose, but I'd prefer an in-game solution if one exists.
