strange mouse click listener problem

Post » Wed May 11, 2016 8:22 pm

I haven't played Skyrim for a while (1 or 2 years). Yesterday I wanted to play again, I created a new game, and I observed that when I want to attack or block, then the mouse click(left and right, too) is not listened to in most cases. If I want to hit an enemy, then a click does not always work, sometimes no action is done by the character. But when I loaded the old saves, then the mouse click worked as expected. So there is no problem with mouse click, when I load an old save, only when I create a new game, which makes new games unplayable. Power attack always works, but short attacks are just as important.

I tried a lot of things to fix the problem, but with no success. I reinstalled the game, I added to Skyrim.ini file this: iPresentInterval=0, I have changed in SkyrimPrefs.ini file bMouseAcceleration=1 to bMouseAcceleration=0, but still nothing :(.

I am sure that my problem is not unique and there should be a patch, or at least some information about this bug.

Can someone help me?
