PLEASE give us CO-OP!

It doesn't have to be some giant, elaborate system with 32 player deathmatch and all that crap. I just want 2 - 4 player co-op in pretty much all of gamesas's future titles. Oblivion practically SCREAMS for this! How cool would it be for you and your best bro to go exploring some bigass Alyid ruin together, slaughtering skellys and necromancers with sword and spell?

Just make it so the host is running the "world" and the guy connecting in becomes a follower, just like the ones you normally get, except this one has free will and Daedra armor. The quests and the game's state are all for the host, and the co-op buddy is there to help out. If you want to get fancy with it, I suppose you could change some of the NPC dialog to say "It's up to you and your friend" instead of just "It's up to you". . . .but that's just fluffy stuff that doesn't really matter.

It could even work in Fallout - though it would be more difficult. We were thinking maybe only the host is the actual "Vault Dweller" and the co-op player is just like a normal Jericho-type-guy that you picked up along the way. In that sense, only the vault dweller could trigger VATS, but then both players have to line up all their shots and hit OK before it unpauses. Or maybe player 2 has no vats at all, and just has to stand there paused while the VD auto-headshots stuff.

Please please please gamesas, we KNOW this isn't outside of your skills to provide. Your games are already EPIC adventures that people cherish for years - but with this - they could be games that we cherish for a lifetime.

The happy little fella here -----> http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1085332-official-tes-multiplayer-thread/ is the offical Non-MMO discussion thread.

But you have to remember, adding any kind of multiplayer to a game takes time and resources away from the rest of the game. Time and resources aren't infinite and since Bethesda have shown no experience with any kind of multiplayer recently I'd much rather they devote time and effort to an epic single player game.

What do you mean by we? Personaly i don't want any co-op options in TES. And i don't really think it would be that easy to just add a co-op option in a game like TES.

So, before the lock, TESV co-op could work like an extra borderlands style world along side a standard single player world. It would be fun, It would be cool, It would take a different kind on engine to run effectively.

That would be cool, perhaps being able to start a new game with a few friends

or a dlc that adds a portal to another dimension, which would be a sort of multiplayer realm of oblivion

however the game engine from tes 4 wouldn't be able to handle it anyways

There is already a multiplayer thread, located http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1085332-official-tes-multiplayer-thread/
There is also a official suggestions and ideas thread, located http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1089003-tes-v-ideas-and-suggestions-163/
If you have suggestions, I recommend posting in that thread for future TES:V games.
