Problem with TESO Login

Hi all,


i don't know where to post this elsewhere (TESO forums don't work, please read below) so i hope someone here can help me.


Back in 2014 i bought TESO when it first came out but i just played a couple of minutes though because i did not really like it.

So today i thought why not try it again and installed it again but when i try to login i get a popup saying that the login information is incorrect. (no error number is given though)

So then i tried to login at account.elderscrollsonline.com which works without a problem and there the account status says "Aktiv - Probe" which in english would be "active - trial" i guess.

Just to make sure that there was nothing strange going on with my password i changed it but i still can't login to the game (i can still login to the account management site).


So then i tried to find help through the online support page at https://hilfe.elderscrollsonline.com/app/home. The FAQ there where no help so i tried "Additional support options" but this leads me to a login page again where again my login credentials don't work.


So then i tried using the TESO forums but there too i am not able to login with my credentials and trying to register for a new account does not work presumably because i have no "invitation code" (where am i supposed to get one of those?)


So then i tried to contact gamesas directly via phone but both support hotline numbers listed on http://gamesas.com/de-de/contactare invalid (which i think is really unprofessional for a company that is as big as gamesas is).


And now i am running out of options, and i am really angry and annoyed with the TESO support (or lack thereof) and i hope that someone here can help me with a way to contact the TESO support.

You need to log in with your forum details to ask for help when you can't log in to the forum? Oh ZOS. *shakes head* You should have received a forum invitation code when you registered the game, but even if you just missed it in your inbox, it's been two years, so it's probably lost.


Support used to look different, I remember sending a ticket without logging in. Maybe that option's still in there somewhere, but for now, try going back to that login page, clicking Can't Log In and choosing Suspended/Compromised. It appears to allow you to fill in your account details manually and contact support.


But just to make sure: you did actually buy the game and not just play in the open beta, right?

Yeah, i bought the game, never played the beta :-)



Edit: That was a kick in the behind again :-) This support option requires to select a payment option but none of the 4 available options fit. I don't have a credit card registered to the account (and there is no option in account management for me to do so), i did not use paypal, have no gametime code and i am playing on pc so no xbox or playstation ID either :-)


This is really an exercise in frustation!



Edit 2: Found the problem. Back in 2014 i bought the Collector's edition which included an early access to the five days before the official release. For this early access i received a code which i used to register the game but i never actually registered the game itself (wich as it turned out was also the reason why the account state said "trial"). After entering the registration code of the game itself i am now able to login to the game and of course i can now also access the support page :-).
