Sadfleck the Superhero?

Post » Sat May 28, 2016 7:23 am

I don't know, I kinda feel sorry for the poor sod, especially after the vid of him getting so depressed in the interview that someone decided to dub Sound of Silence over his interview. I also hear that he's through with big movies from now on, 'cause the big flops are killing his acting career? Anyone have any ideas what he could do in the superhero universe to bring his confidence back in the genre? Despite what people said I quite liked his Daredevil (especially the director's cut), and I haven't seen the BvS film yet. Ironically, from what I hear he's the best thing about it! Anyways, I think his best bet would be to become another superhero in a group Marvel movie like Avengers, then maybe hope they make a movie solely based around his character. Any idea what Marvel character he'd be most suited to play in a Marvel Studios movie?

He should probably stick to directing as he seems to be better at it than acting.

I thought I heard he was directing his own Batman movie? Or was that just a rumor?

I haven't seen Batman v Superman yet but from most of the reviews I've seen his performance was solid. Like everyone either seemed to really like him or were OK with it. He can't help the rest of the movie was lacking.

Yes, I knew Daredevil is Marvel (not made by their studio) when I asked, but I was obviously thinking about another character. After all, Chris Evans was the annoying Human Torch in the dire non-Marvel Studios F4 films, but now history will remember him in his excellent portrayal of Cap. I think Evans will be to Cap what Reeve was to Superman, and I still think Affleck has a chance to do the same with a character.

I found Batman vs. Superman to be entertaining enough, but also a horrible mess and a bit silly. It didn't make much sense, which was probably more a failing at the editing stage than anything else. That said, I didn't like Affleck's Bruce Wayne either. It wasn't terrible, but he didn't have much personality. I didn't like him, and I didn't care about him. He was just kinda there filling the suit.

As far as Marvel characters, he would probably make a really good http://marvel.com/universe/Lockjaw.

  That's a good one!

I've never been an Afleck fan, myself. When he was cast as one my own personal favs, Daredevil, I got sick a little. Afleck has no personality. Every character I have seen him portray is Ben Afleck. He should stay behind the camera, in my opinion :)

I've never really understood why those two Fantastic Four films (the ones with Chris Evans, not that newest waste of film) were trashed so much. I enjoyed them.
