I got on my one today and did the update it loads the mods page up but everytime i try to acess the site or download a mod it logs me out. So bethesda did just bring this out today and i know it will have problems anyone else having this problem?

1. The site is taking very heavy traffic.

2. There's likely unforeseen problems that need fixing on day one. (Bethesda has never launched mods on a console before.)


Bethesda and Pete Hines have both been active on Twitter, saying that they are working on correcting the issues.

I don't know about the mod database as I play on the PC and get mods through the Nexus, but the forum is completely whacked today. It's hard to get a page to load, impossible to browse and very difficult to post. If the forums are that messed up, I'm not surprised the rest of it is having issues too. Certainly they had to anticipate the demand, right?

Well the companion mods don't work got one house mod to work and all the other mods keep logging me out.

The website won't even load for me for a good chunk of today and the last few hours. Whenever I try to access the website (I am on Google Chrome, on a Vista/Windows 7 desktop at my work), I get the following message: (I can confirm that this is not a web browser issue.)

The community.bethesda.net page isn’t working

community.bethesda.net didn’t send any data.

It's on heavy load basically. I got some mods downloaded at least, ha-ha. So can screw around a bit with them.

Everything's working better now! Attempting to get the rest of the mods I wanted.

I also am having trouble, but yes I will wait a few days for traffic to clear. I cant even go on the main website, without it saying "Oops Something went wrong. Try again later." I was lucky to get some mods but they aren't enabled.

So much for Jive's 'superior' scalability....

Its about 11:58 on the Bethesda Doomsday Clock for me.

I managed to log in once today, to complain. (Not much else to do there really.) It took awhile to load but like the rest I can't even get to the forums now let alone post anything.

Jive software, is a fail....

I think I'm done. I guess it's goodbye Bethesda when these forums shut down. This makes me very sad. These were the first forums I ever joined. Oh well, as long as the console folks get there mods, screw everyone else I guess.

Got 3 mods downloaded. Only one of the actually works, and it's a radio mod...


After that, can't download anything, can't even delete the mods that aren't working properly.

when you download mods does it ruin your old save games, also fallout 4 achievements deactivated?

Basically, when you download a mod, it makes a new save for mods. And yes, achievements are disabled.

when you remove the mods are achievements enabled again?

Well, it looks like the forums are back up at least. I managed to get through and signed in.

Only if you go back to the save without mods

The Fallout 4 forums are back up for most people now. Although there might be more maintenance scheduled.
