The last thread ended up with discussion on whether George RR Martin lied to his editor about the identity of Coldhands.
I have to brag a bit. Last year my partner Brash (also a member of these forums) proposed a theory that would explain why Melisandre appears young in her bath. Recently this theory has been quoted in several online news sources and and has even found its way into a couple YouTube videos. A short excerpt for anyone who's interested:
Here are a couple of the articles that discuss the choker/age issue:

Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm proud of her. Way to go!
Episode 7 spoiler.
I always found Arya to be a little bit boring, especially this season.
But damn, no! Don't stab my Arry!
Also, CLEGANEBOWL CONFIRMED
They should rename the show this season to
Game of Returns
I'm sure i have missed some
Agreed. It's kinda pissing me off really. I liked her story line but, yeah, the above.
The show doesn't always follow the books.
Agreed. I was hoping for more out of last nights episode but nope. Seeing, as you say, I feel like we've simply had not a whole lot going on.
Supposedly, he told his editor that, but someone else mentioned that the info came out quite a while ago, so maybe he changed his mind. It would be really, really silly if he lied about it to preserve a surprise. Kinda like telling someone that you're leading to a surprise party that you're definitely, definitely not leading them to a surprise party.
