Confirmation from Pete Hines that Skyrim Special is 64-bit

As if it wouldn't be known already.



Pete Hines has confirmed he talked to Todd Howard and the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on PC is 64-bit and saves also transfer.

I can live without savegame portability, but if they did all this work and left x64 out, now that would've been a shame.

For me, this is an important topic. And i also heard that mods from the 32bit version will be compatible with the 64bit. Is it confirmed?

The esm/esp file format is not affected by the game being 64-bit. That means most mods should be compatible by default.



SKSE, the plugins using it, etc. however must be converted for 64-bit.
