Just look at that snow and how it looks ... Exhactly what Skyrim needs to have !
Well and May be even that fur simulation would fit well .

So tessellation on snow can or not be added?
If they're switching to DirectX 11, which seems to be the case, tesselation should propably be all over the place, not just snow. But on one hand, I'm not quite familiar with the way the particular technique works and on the other, you're looking for an official answer, not my opinion/speculation, or anyone else's.
Fallout 4 uses hardware tessellation as a part of the DirectX 11 API.
Could it be the case with Skyrim as well?
Gamepur stated that Skyrim snow looks like: Fancy looking snow fresnel effect, smoother, higher quality directional snow, altered lighting, higher quality snow particles.
I doubt any new DLC would be added.
They did show changes to the Snow in the trailer and the snow looked a lot better. I would like to see if footprints are added when you are something else steps on it.

Tat would be a cool feature!
I wish Bethesda Game Studios would develop a expansion pack to let us go to the Summerset Isles to side with the Thalmor or to fight them depending on the situations and be able to elect a High King or a High Queen or both.
The main quests at the end of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are left in a cliffhanger that I wish were resolved before ZeniMax Media Inc., Bethesda Softworks, and Bethesda Game Studios publishes and releases The Elder Scrolls VI for sale.
