No More CK forum?

Wow, is it possible that Bethesda isn't going to have a CK forum on their new site? I was hoping they would move this forum over. A lot of great info would be lost. Not to mention all the help modders get here.

There is a CK forum for Fallout 4 https://community.bethesda.net/community/fallout/fallout-4/creation-kit-beta

Skyrim does not have it yet since the TES forums are still here.

Nexus is likely just responding to its user base to have those sections as well on their site since a lot of people do not like the new forums plus there is quite a bit of toxicity at the new forums since mods came to the Xbox One.

There is no Skyrim CK forum on the new site yet, because the TES forums have not moved to the new site yet.

Considering that FO4, FO3 and FO:NV each have sub-forums on the new site specifically for the CK and/or GECK, it seems that each TES game will get the same treatment.

That said, none of the individual threads here are getting moved, but they will be archived here as "read only." This allows people to copy all the great info to new threads if they want.

Well, I'll have to say that I have gotten a great deal of help from the members here on this forum so I hope that Beth will continue the skyrim forum...hard to imagine they will not with the SE coming out. On 2nd look at the Nex announcement, I can see that they are more addressing their own lack of a "modder's forum" which always seem strange that they did not have a dedicated forum.

I thought it was odd but then again maybe the staff at the Nexus felt that it was best that they used the official CK forums.

The move at Nexus is largely driven by the fact that nobody wants to have to deal with Jive when the TES forums move.

There always was a modders forum, its just that you had to be a "recognised mod author" to be able to access it, which was counter productive as the people who actually need the help weren't able to access it, so it was decided to make it open to all.

So "recognized" means you had to have published (as opposed to being well-known presumably?). Yeah, that certainly cuts down on helping newbies out. I'm glad I found this forum, and contrary to what the naysayers are saying on the Nex forum, this forum and its participants have helped me a very great deal.

As for the new forums (community hub or whatever they are calling it), it does take time to adjust to such a different looking forum but hopefully Beth will figure it out, improve and so forth to make it useful. I am a mod on what used to be a decently popular reefkeeping forum. The forums pretty much has become non-existent once they moved over to a new forum (hub); had multiple kinks, spam, errors, that no one seemed able to fix and basically drove out most of the community and scared the newcomers off.
