No weather clipping through roofs

Please Bethesda, make it so that when you are under the roof outside and when it is raining or snowing, the rain or snow does clip. Heard that Fallout 4 had a new system where you where allowed to sit under a roof and there will be no clipping. Port this over to Syrim and make it a real shelter by default.

No. The rain will keep pouring right through the roof, your immersion factor will be stuck at the lower negatives and if you want to feel sheltered, get out in a rainy day and wait under a real roof . That should to it, but don't blame me if you get a cold :P

I was joking, obviously :)

Fallout 4 does indeed work pretty much like that, but you're still getting the wet shader when it rains. That's propably a design decision because for the most part, the shacks you build are not exactly waterproof. If they can pull it off with Skyrim's existing assets, it would be a welcome addition.

The rain might or might not clip through it depends if you are in power armor or not. If you are then it will clip through since you see the drips on the HUD. I do not know if will show in third person since I do not play in third person.
