The Dawnguard vampire mechanics

So, it seems kind of odd but I'm currently making use of it lol. Staying at full stage vampirism, for one I have all the powers permanently. They completely disappear from my favirotes when they fade, that is annoying.

Was that the point behind it, for those to have the option to simply stay at full vampirism? Just curious about thoughts on this from the veterans of the game, something does seem peculiar about feeding as a vamp being completely unnececcesary as well as people never attacking you...

I guess so. It's been so long playing a vanilla vampire/vampire lord. If you're on pc I suggest downloading the 'Better Vampires' mod on nexus. It lets you tweak your experience as a vampire. For example: The more you feed the stronger you get. The less you feed the weaker you get.

alright thanks, maybe i'll just leave it as is, just seems odd that feeding is more of an annoyance and also no need at all for it even. but definitely piqued my interest, I'll go over there and get more details on the mod

I seem to recall someone telling me that at Stage 4 encounters with Dawnguard patrols become much more common. Not sure I recognize that from my own experience, but it's all I can think of.

If you want a vampire mod, also consider Vampiric Thirst.
