I want to make a mod which removes both level up messages (blade increased etc..) and the level up sound. The intention was to make levelling more subtle (ie not noticable at all) in the spirit of GCD, and also to make skill books indistinguishable from regular books.

Obviously the sound was no problem, but trying to remove the message popup when you level up, I went into gameplay > settings > menus in the CS and edited the level up values. The CS wont allow you to fully delete the message, if you do it just reverts to the default setting. Is it possible to completely remove the skill level up message?
