I didnt know until just now that if you give her a grey hood called a "hat" she puts it on and takes off her robe.


I enchanted the "hat" (really more of a hood) with Alch. and gave to her to carry along with ring,neck.,gloves and ingr. So now she's running around zapping dudes pretty much naked.


She's a cool Mage at lvl. 49, I guess that this is one of the good glitches.

Make sure you have the Igmur "moble app".. that will make it easier to upload from their. I used a camera ( later phone ) with Photobucket off a 360 ...but to many add's...

Panties and Bra...no.. cause the body meshes I use have "naked only" on fem's... so... with AFT, seen her naked coming into Whiterun a couple times... into Breezehome...a few times.

Aranea is usually just wearing a circlet in my games. It's a pity to hide her hair, if she's showing you everything else.

Yep, one of my top three favourite Companions. I use CBBE but not much else that changes her.

This also works with Illia. I think those are the only two followers that wear the hooded robes.

Her quest is done, and she doesn't want to become a follower again. I don't even think USLEEP fixed her.

Was this a "follower once, won't rejoin", or a "won't become a follower for the first time" situation?

USLEEP fixes the first. The second was introduced by Hearthfires, and I don't recall if that was fixed at all. However, I have recruited her with HF in the game, so there are other factors involved.

It's been so long, but I'm pretty sure it was the first one. The UESP.net did say something about her becoming more problematic after HF came along. It's not a biggie because her quest is done and there are plenty of other followers I like.

That glitch where she won't join in the first place is definitely a bug in HF.

Her robes are hooded so when you give her something to wear on her head she will often equip it. I have seen her switch back on forth on hats/hooded robes. If you want her to keep her robes unequipped, give her an actual helmet, assuming you aren't on pc and can't just remove/equip item on her. If you give her a helmet gauntlets and boots she will wear those and get a wee bit of armor and gain the benefit of enchantments, at least certain types, but her torso will remain bare and you can continue to admire her figure....

I like to make her a balltemage and give her a weapon. Then she will bomb stuff with spells until her magicka is low and if anything is still standing she will whack 'em with her sword. You can really stand back and let her do all the work most of the time.
