Title says the problem. Whenever I close and start Morrowind again, the screen resolution and settings (like subtitles) is reset to default. I play on PC with Windows 10 and downloaded the game through Steam. Edit: GotY edition.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Same thing has happened to me for a while. Resets the controls for me too. I play on Windows 8 and through Steam GOTY edition as well. I would like to know too, but I don't think it has anything to do with the OS.

This can happen if you have the game installed in a Program Files directory. Windows won't allow changes to be made to the .ini files in those locations. Your best bet is to move or reinstall it to it's own directory.

That's weird, because the game never did that to me originally (at least, I'm pretty sure that is the case). It just started doing it one day, and I have never moved the game files around before either. I'll guess I'll try that out too.
