honestly, I don't think it would be received well..


Morrowind is a great game don't get me wrong, but its aged.. most gamers these days aren't used to such a form of dice-roll combat and spreadsheet-stats..



sure, those of us who grew up with such mechanics wouldn't be bothered at all, but the younger newer gamers would likely get fairly aggravated and I honestly think that would hurt sales quite a bit

Yeah, you're probably right. I feel sure most of the fans who actually have consoles (myself included) would buy it, but those who have it on PC and only own a PC would have no use for it, and non-fans unfamiliar with it would probably just be vexed by it, and not give it a chance.
