I'm buying a new video card, and I'd like to see how crazy high I can crank up Morrowind, what with all of the shaders as well as the new PBR that Hrnchamd added (is he ok? where'd he go?)

I'm torn between a Matrix 980 Ti, Strix 980 Ti, or Strix 1080. Any suggestions as to which is best, ignoring cost?

Any 1080 is far and away better than any 980.

I thought MW couldnt take advantage of new hardware?

I figured there must be something going on, since the Matrix 980 Ti is several hundred dollars more than the Strix 1080 OC.

Hrnchamd is an amazing person Check out MGE XE and everything that it's doing.

Quick search on google returned that it's the case because they've manufactured less Matrix 980 Ti's and thus it's hard to find, so price is higher. Still seems a bit strange, and my post shouldn't be considered pivotal in anyone's decision.
