Skyrim update request

Post » Wed Sep 28, 2016 8:41 pm

So since there are no new dlc being added and the possibility for the mods coming out being slim to none for ps4 is it possible to get updates to add new things that give us more to mess with? Honestly the no new content makes the game not worth the extra 60$ when I could just play the version I already have without paying the extra money.... Basicly what I am saying is there needs to be more of a reason than just a graphics improvement to make the game even worth 60 because as it sits it is probably a terrible idea for anyone to pick it up just for the graphics improvement even though that's just my opinion im sure many actually share it....

Things that would make it worth that much would be along the lines of....

New companions

New spells

New quests

New weapons

New armor

And so on and so on.... Like I said before as it sits I cannot see a reason to buy a 60$ game when I already own a midly toned down version of it!

nothing more is going to be added..

and i agree, $60 for ANY remaster is way to expensive.. granted, all those people who opened up accounts here over the years just to post "they need to release skyrim on the new consoles and make it look nicer, i would pay hundreds for it!" are probably in a pretty happy mood..

60$ for a remaster is way too expensive, I agree. But there's always the option to just not buy it for PS4 or not buy it at all.

Why is $60 "way to expensive". Even with my regular edition, legendary edition, guide, dlc & the remaster I've spent about $250-300 over 5 years on this game. I've played the game in excess of 500 hours and many characters. So for the enjoyment I've had it cost me less that .60 an hour. What else could you do for that price.

because we already own the game.. having to pay new game price for a rerelease with some slightly higher res texxtures is just not reasonable for alot of people (especially in this economy) when we already own the game and can play the exact same product now without spending a dime

If you think it's the exact same product, I would definitely suggest to not spend any dimes!

The Special edition is a cashgrab made mainly for people who never played Skyrim 32bit; I'll get it for free for pc and I'll surely play it. I'd probably buy it full price because I'm a huge fan of the game, but those smarter than me are going to pass and enjoy the already great 32 bit version.

The game is 5 years old. No.

Name a non-mmo that has continued to get new content after 5 years.

You're right but I think Skyrim is a rare case:

- it has a big fan community

- it is probably the most successful chapter of a great series

Plus: Bethesda declared that TES VI is a long way to go. It doesn't matter there are two whole new projects, maybe even ips, Bethesda fans want more elder scrolls.
