Cool follower needed.

Post » Thu Sep 29, 2016 12:21 am

Hello, this is the first time (from what I remember) I post a request in this forum.

I'd like to ask you all about a cool female follower, I don't care the class. She must be awesome (beautiful) and very useful.

I had Hikari some months ago, but unfortunately, due to change of my pc, I lost her and she is not available on Skyrim nexus anymore. :(

I personally do not use any companion mods. Do you use any body mods. Some might be dependent on them.

I have heard a few good things about Vilja from a few posters here. I would link it but I do not have the time to check out all the 2000 images just in case if someone was using a version designed for a body mod. Just do a search on Nexus and it will come up.

I haven't played with her yet since my computer is a POS but http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26393 looks like an amazing follower. Or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54527/? if you're looking for the sarcastic, drunken innuendo obsessed type. :P

I use viconia devir- shes a little lore breaking however i find her more enjoyable than the 2 listed above. If she had been created as a high elf i think she would be a lot more popular

Sofia is one of my favorites. Here's a few more that are definitely worth looking at...

M'rissi http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34794/? (Khajiit)

Arissa http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53754/? (Imperial)

Shiamar http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63439/? (Orc)

Mirai http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53867/? (Breton)

Danariel http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47649/? (Wood Elf)

They are all beautiful and far more advanced then regular followers.

I use Vilja and Sofia in almost every play-through. I found Sofia's innuendos funny at first but they quickly became stale. Vilja is absolute 1st class as a follower but her wardrobe/outfit and general options are way over complicated.

The author says that his mods are not NMM friendly so they have to be installed manually. Unzip then drag and drop everything in the directory that contains the esp file, except the options folder, to the skyrim data directory. Then look at the options folder to see if you want to add any options, like body type, and do the same. Some of the companions may not have an options folder. I have also used Mod Manager to install some of the companions on the site and found that to work, though you will not be given an option to select any of the companion options. Can be confusing if you do not have a lot of familiarity with file/folder setups.

Well it should be really cool, but the follower I've chosen needs such a cascade of other mods that I'll pass, for now. Thanks anyway.

The ones I have looked at are all pretty self contained unless you want the HDT to work then yes you need some other mods too.

I don't care for HDT, but when I enter Falkreath's tavern the game crashes to windows.

I loaded up Bad Hikari just to see if it worked and it was fine for me except a really obvious missing http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c247/Hcir/bad%20h.jpg. Likely you would need to load some mods you do not want for her to work. But there are many companion mods out there soooooo
