Where does this Vampire face come from?

Does anyone know where this Vampire Face 'comes from'? If I use the Console to COW into Tamriel 0 0, and then change my Race to 'NordRaceVampire', I get this epic looking face. If I take a Character who has been through the RaceMenu, however, their Vampire Self ends up looking boring, with just the marks around the chin.

See, for example, the Dawnguard Vampire in this Picture.

I want to use that first face-style for my Vampires, but it seems there's no "genuine" way to get it... Does anyone know?

That's the Dawnguard vampire pig face :lol: Not sure how you managed to get it on your player, but it's what NPC's look like.

That only works because, before you ever open the race menu, the player doesn't have a face complexion assigned. Once you do, you'll have the complexion of your preset, unless you change it. The vampire face is the default complexion for the race, which is why it changes when you change races.

If you made that complexion playable by attaching it to NordRace, you could select it during character creation and it would persist when you became a vampire.

Thank-you both!

@PrinceShroob,

Yes, I think that's what I've just realised (and had come to ask about, possibly). There's a file called 'malehead_msn' in the male character textures; over-riding that with the one from 'maleheadvampire_msn' file from Dawnguard gives that face design. Unfortunately I don't want a "standard" playable complexion, since I want to toggle between 'normal human' and 'hideous vampire'... Is it possible to force-change to a non-Playable Complexion on demand, do you know?

Edit : Done it! SKSE's SetFaceTextureSet() worked perfectly--just point it to the Vampire Face Complexions, and it works just right so far! :D
