Endless loading screen and CTD trying to leave Sovingarde

I'm not certain if this is the right place to post, so if not, then maybe a mod can move elsewhere.

I'm not certain what else to do, besides going far back in game play time or starting a new game.

I'm at level 49, and almost at the end of the main quest. I've gone to Sovingarde, killed Alduin, been congratulated by

Tsun, who gives me the Thu'um to call a warrior from Sovingarde, But then after he blasts me back to Skyrim,

instead of going to the Throat Of the World and the waiting dragons, I get an endless loading screen followed by a CTD.

I'm over 3500 hours into Skyrim, and have done the main quest I guess around a couple of dozen times now, so I know

how it all should turn out. But I haven't hit this problem trying to leave Sovingarde before.

I've tried repeatedly to re-do the quest in Sovingarde (I had done a save back in Skuldafn before coming to Sovingarde

and I had done saves in Sovingarde at various points). I've killed Alduin six times now, and each time with the same result

when Tsun blasts me back.

I'm on PC, with around 160 mods on tap. And of course, I add and subtract mods all the time though all my play throughs,

including this one (I don't want to wait a 100+ hours to finish a game and start a new one before trying out a great looking

mod).

I have all sorts of fixes and tools installed, too many to immediately remember, including the ENB patch (I think the endless

loading screen fix is there too).

Anyway, anyone have any ideas or suggested console commands to try and get the quest unstuck from it's endless loading

screen? Or is the main quest now just borked at this point? Even if I can't tie up the main quest completely, is there any way

of at least getting out of Sovingarde so I don't have to go back in time and lose abunch of level ups? I did try COC'ing to

various places, but same result, endless loading screen followed by CTD.

Sorry for the long post, but stuff like this is so frustrating. Thanks for any suggestions

PS: a sudden thought: I haven't tried using "player.moveto ". I wonder if that would work, like moving to Paarthanax,

or Angemeir (I forgot how to spell it), or even Lydia at Heljaarchen Hall. Any other suggestions appreciated.

If you have been removing mods on the current game save there might not be that much that can be done. Those mods might be leaving information in the game save and that could be causing the issue you are now facing.

What are the current mods you are using and their load order. Maybe it could be an issue with your current mods.

Never mind: IT WORKED!! And better than I could have hoped, I got back to The Throat Of The World, the waiting dragons, and the main quest

completed.

I had saved just before I asked Tsun to send me back. I went to that save and then used the "player.moveto A2C94 ". This time

no endless loading screen or CTD, I went straight to Lydia at Heljarchen Hall. So I then went back to that save, asked Tsun to send me back,

and then just as he completed his blast and giving me the Thu'um for the Sovingarde warriors, but before the load screen started, I went into

the consul and typed in the player.moveto Lydia again. I hoped that I would get back to Lydia with the main quest completed. This time, there

was just the regular load screen, no endless loading. But instead of going back to Lydia, I went to the Throat Of The World, the dragons waiting,

and the main quest completed.

I know that sometimes loading problems can be fixed if you can fast travel out of that cell to another cell and back again. But you can't fast

travel from Sovingarde. But maybe using that first player.moveto had the same effect. So I may not have needed that second player.moveto

In any case, i feel liked I've dodged an arrow to the knee :P

Thanks for your reply!
