I think I will still play the 32bit version from time to time, maybe not on the PC but on my 360.

I will likely get the game on Xbox One at or shortly after launch as well have the free PC version

I wiped my copy of Skyrim off my hard drive along with all the mods I had downloaded, in order to start with a fresh slate. I only got Skyrim for PC a couple months ago, just before they announced the Remaster, so I hadn't made a lot of progress any way. I got it for 360 originally so I do still have my old characters saved to that, but I will probably never play that version again.

Will not be buying the PS4 version.

When most of my favorite mods become available for the 64-bit bit version I may switch to the 64-bit version. Until then, I'll stick to the 32-bit version.

And if I end up never switching to the 64-bit version that will be fine too. I'm actually pretty happy with the 32-bit version, to be honest.

I will be playing both the 32-bit version of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the 64-bit version of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC.

I like to keep the old classic versions of video games and go back and switch to them for the memories.

I also have the PC version of BioShock, and the PC version of BioShock 2, and BioShock Remastered and BioShock 2 Remastered on PC in my Steam account video games library.

Because 2K and Take-Two gave them out for free for us PC gamers who purchased the classic old original versions before the remasters were ever released.

I wish all classic old video games when they get remasters never get desisted from being sold.

Deep Silver and 4A Games with their two Metro video games Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light got desisted from being sold on gog.com and Steam when they released for sale Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux.

Ten years from now and even twenty years from now I will still be playing the 32-bit version of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC.

this one is very exited about the new remastered for PC

is thinking of keeping the unmastered version and will keep it mod free and as vanilla as possible for for Dead is Dead competitions & most important to be able to compare the changes between the two versions

as for this ones plus 300 mods on the old version........they have set a benchmark that the remastered version has to beat in this ones mind regarding her own game...........the truth a good amount of them are patches & bug fixes, so not to need to install them because the new game will be fixed is a big plus

How do the mods work pn PC for the remastered edition? Do they have to recreate all mods for the it or what?

I'll play the remaster if I find the graphics appealing. From the few screenshots I couldnt get a thorough look. Might find myself used to how the original game looks.

Like sah, I intend on switching mostly to sse and modding that version going forward, but keeping 32bit skyrim on my hard drive completely vanilla so I'll be able to participate in DiD competitions on a n even footing with those on console

I'll keep (and keep playing) 32 bit - I'm not going to mess with 64 bit until certain things are available - SKSE most notably. As well as most of the 215 mods I have now.... no few of which requires SKSE.

Besides, my game is so stable, I don't see any real need to change.

My heavily modded game looks amazing (I guarantee it looks better than the SSE will in it's default state) and it's very stable.

I will download SSE as it's free and I have plenty of HDD space to let it sit there unused, But other than giving it a quick test-play I can't imagine me actually using it over my modded 32 bit version.

Hi Sah :wavey:

One....Good idea to keep the old one for competition use.....but I don't understand the vanilla "as possible" comment.....there is only one true vanilla and in competition use there is no excuse for any mods at all if your using the old copy. Even the usleep mod gives advantages to the player in many minor ways. The most vanilla possible game....IS simply the vanilla game...NOTHING added (bar official dlc).

Two....sorry hon, but unless Beth say otherwise....there are NO extra bug fixes built into SSE

I would hope it includes all current official patches...but even that is not a given

Truth is Bethesda have promised NOTHING beyond what we saw in the E3 trailer and I am afraid to say, but Mr. Peter Hines has proved his word to mean nothing.

Bottom line: ANY extra fixes and improvements above what we know for certain now will be a bonus and making assumptions will like lead to disappointment.

Additional...I may keep my old x360 version going for competitions :)

i will probably still play the unmastered version until there are more solid mods available for the remaster. I plan to start playing the remaster without mods to get a better sense of how BGS may have originally intended the game to be played. After playing the game with mods for so long, I kind of have forgotten

I will play both. I've got my heavily modded 32 bit version tweaked so it's pretty stable and runs 55-60 FPS everywhere with a bunch of fairly performance intensive mods (Requiem, Frostfall, Wet and Cold, Convenient Horses, SMIM, SkyHD, SFO, JK Lite, ETaC and many others). Most of my favorite mods won't be available on SSE for a while, so I will keep playing the 32 bit version of the game.

But I will also play SSE. I'm very interested to see what the new engine can do and I plan to start relying more on my own mods that those made by other people. So I will use SSE as an opportunity to build a new load order from the ground up and to fix the issues I have with the game myself before looking for mods others have made have made.

I may even try my hand at my own big overhaul. That would take years. But since I could keep playing the 32 bit version, modding SSE would be an interesting side hobby.

I will be playing on Xbox One since I don't have the 360 version anymore. That said, if I ever decide to play on my PC, it all depends on if my PC can play it. I have a 2013 MacBook Pro. It can play Skyrim right now, modded but not with all the great graphics so it might not be able to play the new one.

So SSE on the Xbox One, and most likely not play it on the computer.

I will keep modded 32 bit until SSE has proven stable and the mods I use are converted.

I only use 20 mods but I imagine it will take time for them to get converted (if they all do). And I am sure there will be issues with the launch anyways. So no problem for me to wait until it's all sorted.
