Longer distance details?

Hello!

Is it possible to improve the distance at which the terrain details are drawn? Is there a mod or something to improve this feature?

The only way to increase the number of cells loaded is to increase your uGrids setting but that is strongly discouraged because it will likely mess up your game.

The recommended solution is a mod called DynDoLOD that will vastly improve the distant LOD, making everything in the distance more detailed. It is somewhat complex to install but it works well, although it won't stop that popin effect when the LOD meshes are replaced by the high definition meshes.

DynDoLOD includes a scripted esp file for dynamic LOD (things like flickering giant fires and animated windmills) but I just use it to generate better static LOD. I use the non-scripted Skyfalls/Skymills for animated windmills/waterfalls and I just live without flickering giant fires.

Thanks. I've installed:

1)PapyrusUtil

2)TESVLodGen

3)DynDoLOD

SKSE was already present as I use SkyUI.

I hope it is the right loading order!

You don't need TESVLodGen if you are using DynDoLOD. You can use one or the other. I found the LOD from DynDoLOD to be better than TESVLODgen.

Here is a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_5MWqeHIzw for how to install and set up DynDoLOD. It is a somewhat complex process that is a lot more involved than most mods are to install, but this video walks you through the steps.
