... a throat slit?

I Have a Legendary elven dagger that has 47 dmg and even with a 100 something dmg health potion while wearing 45% one hand enchanted gear I still can't get it.

Thanks for your time

Enchantments fortifying one handed don't work on daggers, only enchantment that work are the ones in the Dark brotherhood globes. The most important for Throat slit are the 2 perks in Sneak for x6 times damage and x15 damage from stealth attacks. Other than that, maybe going to the dark side with the restoration glitch to make a truly Godsbane dagger that do 10.000+ damage or more :].

Ok thanks, I forgot to mention that I have all the sneak perks also,I guess that its the difficulty level.

Maybe I'll have to use a destruction enchanted dagger with a fort. destr. potion along with a high dmg health potion, thats cool.

This is one of the things that I love about this game, figuring out the most effective means to an end.

Use the dark brotherhood gloves for double back stab damage. This will give you 30 times sneak bonus; if this doesn't work I'd suggest a dagger upgrade.

Well, 47 dmg could be better!

My top level dagger...dragon bone (marginally better than glass) with legendary smithing pushed as far as possible with my strongest smithing potions does iirc about 160 damage....but the 6x sneak perks alone makes that 960. The 15x assassins blade pushes it to 2400 the Assassins gloves would push it to 4800. A power attack doubles it again. Nothing survives that even on legendary play! But ya have to pull off the sneak attack.....it will one hit kill a sleeping marauder in heavy armour on legendary at level 50. Overkill.

But even with no sneak boosts a 160 dagger will take out a legendary level 50 Draugr Deathlord in about 15 slashes....which with a dagger takes maybe ten seconds!

Not to my experience. A fortify one-handed enchantment does indeed up the damage on a dagger just the same as it does for any one-handed weapons. However, to get the slit-throat death cam, I'm not sure of the 15x stealth damage with daggers perk is required or not. Besides, I find that death cam blows your cover more often than not anyway

You should not get an kill cam if its enemies nearby. Yes this is a bit buggy but mostly with archery.

I once sneak killed an sleeping dragon with an dagger :)

Same. I've done that to the dragon at the word wall adjacent to Arcwind Point

You're on PC.....all dorts of things that don't work vanilla are patched on PC with the unofficial patches. On Vanilla...fortify 1h does not increase dagger output.
