Didn't see what people replied, because I don't usually feel like reading through all the replies, I usually read only first couple of posts, and if I feel like it entire first page, and that's it. Of course, this is sometimes stupid, because I don't check when those posts were made, which sometimes results in me replying to a few weeks old post lol.
Turija already explained my point about scripts.
As for game changing mods, why would they be "what the hell?"? We can make new locations, dungeons, we can change existing locations and randomize them, we can't add in new mechanics, but we can change a whole lot of the existing ones, we can do everything essential aside from complex quest mods and add mechanics like custom spells or gameplay elements like hunger. Besides, I'm afraid not being able to install [censored] mods will be a bigger problem to people than not having complex quest and gameplay mods.
