Where are the PS4 mods?

Post » Sat Oct 29, 2016 3:43 pm

Didn't see what people replied, because I don't usually feel like reading through all the replies, I usually read only first couple of posts, and if I feel like it entire first page, and that's it. Of course, this is sometimes stupid, because I don't check when those posts were made, which sometimes results in me replying to a few weeks old post lol.

Turija already explained my point about scripts.

As for game changing mods, why would they be "what the hell?"? We can make new locations, dungeons, we can change existing locations and randomize them, we can't add in new mechanics, but we can change a whole lot of the existing ones, we can do everything essential aside from complex quest mods and add mechanics like custom spells or gameplay elements like hunger. Besides, I'm afraid not being able to install [censored] mods will be a bigger problem to people than not having complex quest and gameplay mods.

Good news. I just read it on Reddit that Nazenn, the author of JK Lite plans on bringing it to PS4. JK Lite is a stripped down version of JK Skyrim that has most of the best features of JK Skyrim but offers better performance (FPS) than the original JK Skyrim. Jk Skyrim adds so much stuff that it slows your game down quite a bit and JK Lite is more performance friendly. It's the one I use now (with a few personal tweaks I've made).

Do you have a link to that post?

Combine that with something like Inconsequential NPC's or Populated Cities, and it would be quite the immersive package to revive the cities to actually make them feel more alive.

I wonder if anything from the cutting room mod could be used in ps4 since they are in fact internal assetts just unused. I would love new hairstyles or appearances etc.

CRF also includes tons of new assets and, most importantly, scripts.
