What is the cause of the infamous sheatheunsheathe loop?

Well, I'm at my wit's end with this problem, been banging my head on the wall for hours because of this and I can't for the life of me figure out what on earth is causing this to NPCs. I don't know when and how happened but enemies do not warn the player anymore, they just first spot me, sheath their weapons, immediately unsheath and repeat infinitely. Eventually they attack when I come closer. It seems the lines "I'm warning you, back off" and such do not fire anymore.

I have an ESP version from a week ago which uses exactly the same scripts where the bug does NOT happen, but loading both versions in xEdit and filtering for conflicts doesn't show any difference in regard to AI or such.

Does anyone have any idea, anything at all? I have looked *everywhere* in the ESP to no avail, but I can't just lose a week of work because of this.

Solved it. Took my damn time to figure this out. In the newer ESP I had this experimental actors poller I forgot I put in, the aliases were filling properly but for some reason every time the alias was filled the AI broke somehow. There wasn't even a script attached yet. Bah.

edit: note to self, always document experiments
