NOW FIXED, see below.

I've remapped a few keys and I'm unable to put anything into Lydia's inventory. The screen says R to give but nothing happens. I remapped Activate to R and still nothing happens when I select R or click on the item I want to give her. I'm told I can't equip the item. It was dragon bones.

I remember this issue from the original Skyrim...maybe you still have that patch? Just kidding. Looking forward to the fix so she can get better weapons and armor too. Thank you.

Added: ok, this issue is fixed. I was sure I restarted my computer after changing the keymapping that wouldn't work but a hard reset overnight made the issue go away. Having a great time playing, thanks again.

Yeah using DS4. Remapped a few buttons. Now those remapped don't work and I can't get the menu up. Maybe the unoffical patch will sort it.

Edit - Seems it was unrelated.
