I'm trying to complete the Dawnguard quest Chasing Shadows atm, and Serana is being a difficult follower. She won't follow me at all from Fort Dawnguard, and when i use the 'moveto player' command, her dialogue indicates that she is following me, but she instead just returns to Fort Dawnguard.

I travel to Castle Volkihar alone anyway, and pull the lever to take down the wooden bridge when the "Speak to Serana" objective appears. Once again, I use the 'moveto player' command, yet she has no dialogue options to advance the quest, however she has dialogue which relates to the undercroft.

Does anybody have any solutions for me? I've seen on uesp that she has some issues with commands that can be remedied with the console, however trying these has not given me any luck.

I can provide mod load order if it is helpful, but I haven't downloaded or updated anything in over a year.

I had that happen yesterday when I first brought her to Castle Volkihar.

I'm using UNP and had Meeko the dog and Valdimar following me.

I used the "Relax for a while" command on my followers and that seemed to jumpstart Serana.
