I started the dawnguard questline and joined the vampires. then did the blood filled chalice quest.

as far as i was aware, that should have stopped them there and then, but as soon as i fast travelled to a town, i found people getting attacked by master vampires yet again.

so how far down the vampire side of the dawnguard expansion do i have to go for the attacks to cease?
