I always wondered why Bethesda thought it made sense to use the left mouse button to attack with the right hand, while the right mouse button controlled the left hand.

But hey, maybe I am the deviant!

The left mouse button is the primary button and has been the primary attack button in every game I've ever played with a mouse going back to the early '90s. The multi button mouse is set up that way because your index finger is your primary finger. There's nothing odd about it.

Like Eord the Nord, I too am most comfortable with using the left mouse button as my primary attack button. It's been that way in every game I can remember playing and it's second-nature to me now.

I hear you, but Skyrim was my first game where I could place whatever I wanted in both hands and have the same kind of control over them.

To me it just feels natural to control left with left and right with right.
