Unofficial Minecraft thread #126

Post » Wed Nov 02, 2016 6:56 pm

Minecraft is a creative sandbox game centered around exploration and survival; exploring and gathering resources allows you to protect yourself against a variety of monsters that hunt you down during the night. The creative sandbox elements of the game fuel your want to survive and gather, which in turn allows you to build many wonderful creations. Basic fluid physics also provide interesting means of creating basic machines.

The multiplayer is very similar to single-player, just with more people and chat.

We're getting llamas because someone must have wanted to move everything they had all at once, shulker boxes to have portable storage, and woodland mansions haunted by the ghost of Jack Torrence.

The Plugin API was vaporware all along. The "Innovation API" just covers mob AI alongside what resource packs can support.

well other servers have admin that don't have quite as much trouble, but that is because they have the time to research how to solve the problems on their own. I relied on google, which regarding minecraft, has become a cesspool of misinformation and dead leads.

I can get back into the swing of things once I finish picking out a motherboard that won't be fraught with Asmedia controller issues on Linux. Looking like the Asus Z170-Pro is the one if I don't care about RGB lights at all...
