Well as I see it the world got nuked and so many places that have important things would be nuked. Let say ships. A place with lots ships, military ships to be excat. Then we asked what could be on these ships. Supplies for the troops? How bout tanks and veichles to be sent into Canada. Planes, yes jets lots of jets. So where would we find a place with lots of Jets and Ships that is also on the east coast?

Norfolk Va to be certain. The home of the 2nd fleet and only 5 hours away from the capital wasteland(by car).
It holds many military needs and would be great with fallouts 50s lore.

Including Prewar stories and Postwar stories.

I already have some Ideas in my head so tell me what you think,

A few things, i cant see how this could transform into a RP/story. Perhaps Tell us?
Wouldnt the home of the 2nd largest military fleet in america be a pretty big target?

Well I mean for your first question it is easy to say that it would be filled with goodies ranging from weaponry to all sorts of supplies. Also it might hold many bunkers are vaults for army personel(and also the Enclave).

For your second question yes it would be a large target and it was. But so was D.C. So it shows that DC survived so Norfolk could too. Expescialy because it's right next to the Chesapeake bay which would probaly had a misfire nuke causing some sort wave.

Only problem is..... there is no idea? Only a setting for where the story/RP will take place. Maybe if you could tell us some of your ideas? For example, maybe the characters/players have to do something and save all of Norfolk VA? I dunno. But you said you have some ideas, but forgot to mention them. So.... yeah..... give us some of your ideas; then we can tell you whether it would be better as a story or RP.

Well I my main one is mercs traveling into the city to get to a special device that is important to some rich men at the commonwealth.
Another which has the commonwealth in it is a escape Android getting into the city to find a group to help him hide from his pursuers.

Next is a story of one before the bombs drop and a men or women helping create more deadly weapons for the military while spies run amuck.

I have some others but those are still beening worked out.

Well the first and third idea sound more RP oriented, and by that. I mean they could work as an RP, but also a story. The second idea, I don't see really how it could be much of an RP since it's oriented around one single person. So it's all up to you; whether you want it an RP or story.

hmm wierd Well have fun reading how much a hell it becomes when I write my story.

Perhaps you could tell the story from the point of view of sailor assigned to the Master at Arms Rate(Since I doubt it would have been a permanent rating in the Fallout Universe). That, or perhaps even a member of a Marine Rifle Security Company. Either or, would make for an interesting story in the Pre-War setting.
