I was browsing the skyrim mod list and there were a couple of mods that caught my eye, and I just wanted to know. I know trophies are disabled on PS4 if I download a mod, but what if I disable all my mods. Will it make trophies available again? or is it permanently disabled

It is disabled on that character game save if it has used mods.

If trophies/achievements are important for you than I suggest playing the game first with no mods until you have them all and then play the game with mods. Besides it gives time for the mod makers to port mods over and gives you more choices for mods.

I believe it has to be a fresh game start with no mods to enable trophies
