Workshop Mods In Skyrim Special Edition

svcks not having the Workshop compatible with the Special Edition. Companies always needs to have their proprietary crap; I am aware of the integrated mod system in place for the Special Edition. There was one mod which I really enjoyed; it allowed you to play as Miraak. It would give you his voice (taking damage, using Shouts, for example), his armor and weapons, and similar stats. Overpowered, but a lot of fun. The big thing was his voice, which is what subscribing to the mod gave. The obtaining of his shouts, armour, etc. are all easily done via a .bat file. However, it doesn't work with the Special Edition (thanks, Bethesda). I appreciate having the game for free on PC, but I am against this, and the high price tag on consoles. So, I don't feel bad about taking issue with this.

Does anyone know if there is some unofficial way to get it to work? For example, if I reinstall the original Skyrim and subscribe to the aforementioned mod, would I be able to copy and paste its files to the appropriate place in the Special Edition? I haven't tried, but maybe someone has with other Workshop mods and can confirm. Would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

You could always try asking the author of the mod if they plan on porting it.
