So I am attempting to do a couple of the guild quest lines on my main character, mainly the companions and the thieves guild. I have run into an issue on both where the NPC quest givers are not where they are supposed to be. Skjol is clipped into the map and brynolf is no where to be found (seriously, I have no idea where he is). I was able to clip outside the map using a cheat menu mod and speak to skjol, but then Farkas was clipped outside the map as well and would not travel to dustman's cairn. I am unable to proceed and am wondering if anyone can assist with that or knows of any common mods that may be responsible for this happening. As far as the thieves guild, if anyone has any idea what I can do I would appreciate it. Brynolf is not in the ragged flagon (either area) or at his stand in riften and I have zero ideas of what to try.
