I'm with Serana at the gates of Castle Volkihar. They just don't let us in. I've just freed her form her sarcophagus, and did Rannvig's Fast on the way to the castle. Has anyone the same problem? Am I missing something?

I believe someone else had the issue with that quest before at the same location.

Same thing happened to me, rather annoying. It was a glitch in the pc, 360 and PS3 version. And yet it carried over and they haven't fixed it. And even for me Serena has disappeared. She is nowhere to be found now. I have vine back to where you find her, her coffin thing is open and she is not there. I have reloaded my game before approaching volkihar castle, always the same thing. Guard just says go, get out of here and nothing else. It rather frustrating because I've never beaten this dlc even on 360 version for this same reason. And now it's happening again on Xbox one.

I'm playing on ps4. I guess the pc version could have the same problem. But don't worry! We have godrays now!

God rays don't make up for a mission I can't continue with

I'm not sure if it's because I'm a werewolf and have Aela from the companions with me, I am in human form though. Not beast forms but from what I've been told, you can be a werewolf and becoming a vampire lord cures being a werewolf. So I know it's not being a werewolf that is causing it to glitch.

I was sarcastic towards the remaster.

You would think Bethesda would have fixed this glitch being its been a major glitch since the first release of this dlc, but to carry over such a major glitch like this is just ridiculous.
