You are either in vault 14 or 15, a normal denizen thats been here for about three weeks... suddenly, a robotic message goes over on the intercom, a woman speaking.


Attention all Vault Residents, in twenty four hours your vault is scheduled to detonate, unless you find the detonator in the Overseer's Office, and destroy the other vault. The other vault is under the same situation. Good Luck.



Now you must decide who dies, or if everyone dies. If someone goes and opens the vault door out of fear, we all die of radiation.. everyone is nervous, and may attack the Overseer.

I got this idea off the boat scene in The Dark Knight... what would you guys think of a rp like this, where you play as one of the vault denizens and need to help decide what to do? (This isnt the full idea, just the nerves)

how do you find the detonator, all take guesses untill you go "Ding you got it, kill the others??"

Also its not gonna be a hard decision. You want to win so you kill the others.

And there isnt going to be the dynamic your thinking of, seeing as this is a game and not real life like in the black knight. There isnt going to be a tactical discussion and votes its going to be bing bang bong game over.

I agree with Deadley Sin on this one human competativeness and not really careing for non-existant people would make this unworkable. I think it would be a great Fan Fiction though and if you converted it I would read it.

How do we know that the detenator is for the vault thier in? I'm mean it could just be a trick to see which is the one that would have people who would do any thing to survive. I mean Nuclear bombs just fell 3 weeks ago so people would still be a little tense.

I see your points. Was hoping people would play there characters though as if they were in the situation. As for where the detonator would have been, it would be in the Overseers Office right inside a small vault that opens upon the message playing.

I was thinking more of a security crisis.

Its like that part in the dark knight but one place dies!
