Hey guys! I wasn't sure where to file this specific question but I'd really appreciate help, as I couldn't find the answer online. So I've adopted two kids, one of them being Lucia, and moved them into my home in Solitude. They've been there for days now, no issue. Now I've finally gotten around to capturing Whiterun, and she's gone missing. I've scoured Solitude, checked my house repeatedly, even restarted my game and fast traveled different places. She's still gone. The only answers around the web have had to do with if she wasn't previously adopted, so they're no help

Ask Preston Garvey and the Minutemen. Probably she has been kidnapped by some bandits.

As a Whiterun inhabitant (and that's not changed by your adopting her, although it should be) she goes into hiding when the Whiterun siege starts. You probably have to advance the Civil War quest line to have her re-appear. USLEEP/USSEP may fix this, but I don't often do the CW, so I'm not sure.

Don't worry, she's just playing safe!

Use the console to move her back to you.

I think she just disappeared due to the quest you are on. Move along with the Civil War business and she should return. Also make sure you don't have any mods like 'Immersive Citizens' or the like going because I had NPCs disappear on me left and right with that mod.

Those Yahoos couldn't screw a cap off of a beer bottle!

I think it may be the immersive citizen mod bc I did install that a few days ago. Regardless, I'll try everything suggested. Thanks everyone!

I just adopted her tonight but I don't have immersive citizens. I'm gonna keep this thread in mind for a while

Update: after deleting Immersive citizens, Lucia has returned! Thanks everyone for your help
