I've recently restarted Skryim. Just noticed the special edition came out. I was trying out different mods and have realized I can't make a female. When at the character creation all the other sets and sliders work fine but when I change the six it hangs then crashes. I've taken out mods, put on mods. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. Not sure what to do. Other than maybe erase and reinstall.

From that list, I would expect the problem to be either FNIS, XPMSE, or both.

Did you run the FNIS tool after you installed everything? It should be located at: Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNIS_for_Users.exe. You're supposed to run it every time you install or change a skeleton or animation mod. But it should also be run the first time you install FNIS (install XPMSE too, then run the tool). You probably want to select the "Skeleton Arm Fix" checkbox in the patch list below the Update button. Then click the Update button.

If that doesn't fix your problem, try reinstalling both FNIS and XPMSE. And then run the FNIS tool again.
